Chasing 'em down!

#1 is halfway through his first basketball season. Despite being the youngest member of his team (he has some 4th graders on the team), he does very well and really enjoys it. Here he is chasing down the opponent.

We recently received new garbage cans from the city. The boys found them fun to hide out in. Because they are still clean, we didn't object.

Bobcat

We went to the the first of many, many pack meetings on Tuesday evening. Jacob earned his Bobcat. The Wolf Den was asked to post and retire the colors. Jacob was the Color Guard for the American Flag. He did great! I, on the other hand, didn't know they were supposed to cross and had the kids post the flags on the wrong sides. Honest mistake. Back to the sewing machine to get that patch on. Mom's tip of using invisible thread worked like a champ, though the thread is kind of pricey. Actually, Mom did give credit to Mary B.
