A Visit With an Astronaut

While sitting at Flight Deck Cafe this morning, we watched a NASA jet come in for a landing. The 2 pilots came into the restaurant and sat down for breakfast. Oscar mustered up the courage to go ask them for their autographs. They were very gracious and kind to Oscar. Shortly after Oscar sat down, one of the pilots came up to our table and said, "Oscar, I'm going to go out to my plane, would you like to come out and take a look?" Of course he said yes. Joined by Jacob and Grandpa Cobbley, everyone had a up close look at this T-38. The astronaut in training lifted each of them up so they could see inside the cockpit. It was a great experience and you can tell from Oscar's expression, he totally loved it.
